Despite its beauty and the richness of its cultures, Ultraforos New was not without its challenges. A darkness, known only as the Shadowfading, had begun to encroach upon the land. It was a malevolent force that sought to extinguish the light of imagination and reduce the world to a dull, grey reality. The Shadowfading was led by the enigmatic and feared Umbra, a figure shrouded in darkness, whose very presence could cause the brightest lights to dim.
