The film follows a group of filmmakers who set out to make a documentary about 83-year-old Alzheimer's patient Deborah Logan. As they begin to film her daily life, they notice that Deborah's behavior becomes increasingly erratic and disturbing. As the days pass, Deborah's condition rapidly deteriorates, and she becomes a vessel for a malevolent entity.
