The story of Aranmanai 2 begins with a prologue that sets the tone for the rest of the film. The protagonist, Kailash, played by Premji, is a well-known builder who purchases an old bungalow, known as Aranmanai, to construct a new housing complex. Unbeknownst to him, the bungalow has a dark history, and several people have died there under mysterious circumstances.
