The representation of power dynamics and female agency in adult entertainment is a complex and multifaceted issue. Through a case study of Nina Hartley's work, this paper has explored the ways in which female performers navigate and subvert traditional power structures in their performances. The remastering and recontextualization of adult content also raise important questions about the impact of technology and distribution on our understanding of adult entertainment.
