Surah Yaseen is the 36th chapter (surah) of the Quran and is considered one of the most important and revered chapters in the holy book. It consists of 83 verses (ayat) and is a Meccan surah, meaning it was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) while he was in Mecca.
