"Parasite" tells the story of the Kims, a poor family living in a cramped semi-basement apartment in Seoul. The family, consisting of father Ki-taek, mother Chung-sook, and their children Ki-woo and Ki-jung, struggle to make ends meet. One day, Ki-woo's friend, a university student, recommends him for a tutoring job with a wealthy family, the Parks. As Ki-woo poses as a university student and infiltrates the Parks' lives, the Kims slowly become entangled in a web of deception and class struggle.
