Pacific Rim: Uprising is a science fiction monster film directed by Travis Knight. It is the sequel to the 2013 film Pacific Rim and the second installment in the Pacific Rim franchise. The movie takes place five years after the events of the first film and follows a new generation of Jaegers, giant humanoid robots, and their pilots as they battle against a new threat.
