The movie follows Benjamin Gates (Nicolas Cage), a treasure hunter and historian, who is on a quest to clear his family's name and find a lost treasure. Along with his friend and partner, Riley Poole (Justin Bartha), and a museum curator, Abigail Chase (Diane Kruger), Ben must navigate a series of puzzles and riddles to uncover a hidden treasure.
