Born on August 4, 1970, in Kathmandu, Nepal, Manisha Koirala began her acting journey at a young age. Her father, Prakash Koirala, was a politician and a film producer, which exposed Manisha to the world of cinema from a very early age. She made her Bollywood debut in 1989 with the film "Sanskari," but it was her breakthrough role in Rajesh Roshan's "Khatron Ke Khilaadi" (1990) that gained her recognition.
