In a quiet corner of the digital world, Kathy Cheow, an independent filmmaker and multimedia artist, embarked on a project she called “Digital Echoes” —a journey to document fading analog memories through modern technology. Her first creation, Kathy-cheow-01.avi , was a 10-minute experimental short film blending 8mm home movie footage with glitch art, set to a haunting synth score.
