The movie revolves around the lives of two young individuals, Raj (Hrithik Roshan) and Sonia (Ameesha Patel), who fall in love in the beautiful city of Udaipur. Raj, a poor but kind-hearted young man, works as a waiter at a local restaurant, while Sonia, a rich and beautiful girl, is on a vacation with her family. Their paths cross when Raj saves Sonia from a group of miscreants, and they strike up a conversation. As they spend more time together, they realize that they have fallen deeply in love.
