The film follows the story of Henry DeTamble (Brenton Thwaites), a young man who discovers that his missing father, a renowned geologist, had been on a mission to find the center of the Earth. Henry teams up with his friend, Mina (Georgia Flood), and they embark on a perilous journey to find the legendary Inner Earth.
