The film takes place several years after the events of the second installment. The main character, Jennifer Hills (played by Sarah Butler), has written a bestselling book about her traumatic experiences and her subsequent revenge against her rapists. However, her newfound fame and success are short-lived, as she soon finds herself facing a new threat.
