God of War III picked up where the second game left off, with Kratos and his brother Deimos on a quest to defeat Ares, the God of War. However, things took a dark turn when Kratos discovered that his brother had been captured by Zeus, the King of the Gods. Fueled by rage and a thirst for revenge, Kratos set out on a perilous journey to rescue his brother and take down the Olympian gods.
