Fast-forward to two years after the events of Final Fantasy X, and the stage is set for Final Fantasy X-2. The game takes place in a post-war Spira, where the people are rebuilding their lives and society. Yuna, now a professional "Besaid Islander" (a sort of tourist guide), is joined by her friends Rikku and Paine on a journey to explore the mysterious "Ruins" and uncover the secrets behind the ancient temples.
