Argo — 2017

The film opens with a chaotic and disturbing depiction of the Iranian Revolution, which led to the storming of the American Embassy and the capture of 52 American diplomats. However, six employees manage to escape and seek refuge at the Canadian ambassador's residence. With no official support from the US government, a CIA exfiltration expert, Tony Stafford (played by Ben Affleck), concocts a plan to extract the six Americans by posing as a film crew scouting locations for a science fiction movie called "Argo."
