As Kaito and his team investigated further, they discovered that the clock tower at the center of the disappearances was, in fact, the former site of Hiro's clockmaking shop. They also found an old, mysterious clock hidden within the tower's mechanism. The clock was adorned with a small, exquisite hairpin – identical to Mrs. Tanaka's missing heirloom.
